About the Guild

The Comicsmiths' Guild is a loose association of artists and writers who live in or around Spokane, WA and the Inland Northwest area. We're all fans of comic books, and share a passion for creating comics and hope to encourage the growth of the local comics community.

The Guild formed after we participated in the 24 Hour Comic Book Challenge and now usually has meetings about once a month. We're always interested in meeting fellow creators, and everyone is welcome to attend. If you're a local, please contact us for more information regarding Guild meetings.

Membership in this deviantArt Group is open to those who are regular attendees of Guild meetings and events.

Drink & Draw!

Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up that there will once again be a pre-Con Drink & Draw the night before the upcoming Spokane ComiCon. This year it will be held at Rex's Burgers & Brews in downtown Spokane, Friday May 18 from 7 - 11 pm.

I understand you have this month's meeting at SFCC tomorrow. I'm recovering from a broken toe, but I hope to make it this time as your meeting is pretty-much next door.

Unfortunately today's meeting was cancelled at the last minute; sorry for the inconvenience.

We'll note on here where and when the next meeting will be scheduled, but it probably won't be at SFCC, since classes will be starting soon.

Oh hey, sorry for only just now seeing this comment and replying to it...

No worries about missing it. The meeting would've normally been the weekend after, but we pushed it up due to Fathers Day. But the next couple will be on the regular "third Sunday of the month".
